Russell was great! Our dishwasher was holding water in the bottom and not emptying properly and, of course, we had houseguests coming! I phoned High City on Saturday and they tried to squeeze us in for that afternoon but ended up scheduling us for service on Monday 12-3. Russell texted at 11:57 that he was headed our way and about 34 minutes out. He arrived promptly, was very efficient and professional. He assessed the problem and determined a new pump was required. He quoted the price including labor and we decided it was better than the hassle of replacing the dishwasher, and he said he could be back on Wednesday to complete the repair. On Wednesday, he texted when he was about 29 minutes out and on his way. He arrived promptly and quickly installed the new pump and carefully cleaned up his work area in front of the dishwasher. Artem was wonderful. He came to fix an issue with our freezer and while it required some new parts, he came and completed the installation as soon as everything arrived. The cost was reasonable for the amount of work and the nature of the problem. He even returned at no charge to tune up a minor issue we were having problems with after the repair. They are a smaller repair company, but the service and the attention to detail is worth giving them a try.

He took them both apart, did a FULL cleaning inside and out, and put them back together. Great price. Excellent service! We have a 19 year old Whirlpool dryer. It was making screeching sounds and rumble noises. Russell came out and checked and needed to order some parts. He came back and replaced a bunch of rollers and other parts and still heard a rumbling noise. Another roller was needed. The part was ordered and was also replaced. Dryer runs like new. She said she could have a repair person out the next day and how much the service call would be. Russell came during the window I was given. He ran a diagnostic and confirmed what we already expected which was that we needed a compressor. He had the part on his truck and told us the price which was far less than what we expected and got it up and running. We couldn’t have been happier with how this all went from start to finish. High City Appliance was prompt to answer the phone and got me scheduled for a same-day service call on my front-load washing machine! The technician was on time and respectful (took his shoes off before walking up my carpeted stairs). He performed the diagnosis and gave me a quote on the repair. So far, so good. I decided to order the part and complete the repair on my own, and did not notice until reproaching my washing machine a few days later that he broke the housing on the washing machine control panel. The plastic clips had been snapped off and were laying underneath my unit on the floor and the door on the top of the control panel had been taped back together with a piece of electrical tape. It really upsets me that there was no mention of this during the diagnostic visit. The technician took no accountability for breaking these components, and did not apologize or even clean up the broken plastic on the floor! What started as a very efficient and respectful visit has now left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me wonder if there will be other issues with my washer now, due to his neglect and dishonesty. I sure hope this company reaches out to me to make this right.

First time using High City Appliance. My dishwasher was linking looked up on Yelp for a plumber. I called High City and they were able to come out the next day. The plumber was very professional as soon as he took the bottom part off he saw the problem right away. He told me how much the job would be and the price was very reasonable and he replaced the motor and ran the dishwasher double check inside the washer and the bottom. Left the area clean. Reasonable price Washer was having issues and the manufacturer search wasn't able to send some out for a week and we had laundry in the washer and the door would not open. Called Hi City and they send some out the same day. Russell was great. Very professional. Came in, diagnosed the issue. Offered the solution and gave us the choice to repair. Pricing was very fair and he did an excellent job getting us up and running. Even set the washer to rewash the laundry that had been stuck in the washer. I can't say enough good things about Russell! He came out to fix several issues with my fridge, and he was absolutely fantastic. First off, he was prompt and arrived right on time. He communicated every step of the way, explaining what he was doing and what the problems were. He's also very personable and friendly, which made the whole experience much less stressful. It's so rare to find a repair person who is not only skilled but also takes the time to be courteous and communicative. And to top it all off, Russell cleaned up after himself! Had multiple problems with my microwave and honestly thought it was probably fried. Russell diagnosed the problem (a faulty magnetron and blown fuse) and methodically replaced the necessary parts. This was a microwave/oven wall unit so it required a lot of disassembly but Russell handled it like a pro. You can tell he has lots of experience.
