We highly recommend High City. Our call was answered by Tatiana and not a machine. She was very responsive to our problem that our refrigerator had stopped running. She said she could have a repair person out the next day and how much the service call would be. Russell came during the window I was given. He ran a diagnostic and confirmed what we already expected which was that we needed a compressor. He had the part on his truck and told us the price which was far less than what we expected and got it up and running. We couldn’t have been happier with how this all went from start to finish. High City Appliance was prompt to answer the phone and got me scheduled for a same-day service call on my front-load washing machine! The technician was on time and respectful (took his shoes off before walking up my carpeted stairs). He performed the diagnosis and gave me a quote on the repair. So far, so good.
I decided to order the part and complete the repair on my own, and did not notice until reproaching my washing machine a few days later that he broke the housing on the washing machine control panel. The plastic clips had been snapped off and were laying underneath my unit on the floor and the door on the top of the control panel had been taped back together with a piece of electrical tape.
It really upsets me that there was no mention of this during the diagnostic visit. The technician took no accountability for breaking these components, and did not apologize or even clean up the broken plastic on the floor!
What started as a very efficient and respectful visit has now left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me wonder if there will be other issues with my washer now, due to his neglect and dishonesty.
I sure hope this company reaches out to me to make this right.
They were able to come out the same day we called about a leaky dishwasher. They quickly diagnosed the issue - we needed a part replaced - they had the part in the truck and did the repair on the spot. Will definitely call again next time we need an appliance repaired.
First time using High City Appliance. My dishwasher was linking looked up on Yelp for a plumber. I called High City and they were able to come out the next day. The plumber was very professional as soon as he took the bottom part off he saw the problem right away. He told me how much the job would be and the price was very reasonable and he replaced the motor and ran the dishwasher double check inside the washer and the bottom. Left the area clean.
